Just in case you thought my blogging was going to go the way of the butterflies full time I interupt to showcase one of my favorite birds at Green Cay, the Roseate Spoonbill. The birding slows down to a dismal pace in summer months but at least these pink birds bring some joy to the wetland. I especially like this pose taken by my friend Bill Kominsky at Green Cay last week. He's always at the right place at the right time!
