NC Mountains

For Memorial Day weekend I headed to North Carolina to spend some time with my Mom and our little dog Picabo.  It was great spending a few days in the mountain air with beautiful vistas.  Not only did I take a few nice hikes but I also found some killer birds like Ruffed Grouse and Common Raven.  I'll have some photos up later this weekend. 

Sunset

When I think of you I will remember this chilly sunset. I will remember condors and sequoias and dancing together in that outdoor bar in San Francisco. I will remember laughing with you as we hiked down Angel's Landing, exploring Sedona, drinking in a small bar in Key West, and stumbling in dark streets in Orlando. I am grateful that you're in my life and I hope the distance doesn't take you too far away.
