Last year the Eastern Screech-owls gave a good attempt at nesting. Unfortunately the European Honeybees had other plans and destroyed their nest. This year we haven't seen the owls near the nest boxes but they are near the boardwalk. And sometimes they are even calling back and forth with each other. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that maybe they will give it another try at Green Cay.
