Labor Day in South Carolina

I have a confession to make: I haven't been home since Christmas. I know, it's a long time and I believe my grandparents and friends don't think I'm still alive. But I've spent the whole weekend in South Carolina hanging out with the family and I don't leave until Tuesday. The highlight, of course, was going down to the farm. I love the Cypress swamp, the farm fields, and of course the old farm house. This house was built before the Civil War and my grandfather recently remodeled it (installed those three windows up top) and now my Uncle Jerry lives there. It's been a whirlwind of a weekend but I'll have more photos later. For now, you'll have to be content with these old pictures of the house at Christmas and my beautiful dog, Picabo. And yes, that is snow around her for those of you that don't believe I've seen snow in South Carolina.
