Florida Trail Association Meeting

Tri-colored Heron (Egretta tricolor) at Green Cay

Tonight will be my first time speaking not as a Green Cay naturalist but as a birder for the local Florida Trail Assocation. I'm giving a talk on South Florida birds and I must say that I'm a little nervous. I don't see how after teaching for 5 years that this small group could give me the jitters but I guess this is the first time that I'm supposed to be an expert at something outside of work. If you live in the Palm Beach area come out for the meeting, details can be found at the Loxahatchee chapter webpage.

Conrats on the "main speaker" title!

Just pretend you're talkin' to all your pals here at the flying mullet and you'll be fine :)

Good luck!
