The summer Jr. Naturalist series at Green Cay is over. This past weekend we finished up the series with our Wetland Biology and Green Cay Survivor classes. I really had a great group of kids this session and other than the last day we didn't have many behavior problems. We covered ornithology, entomology, herpetology, and botany the previous weekends this month. I haven't read the reviews yet to see what the kids favorite activity was but I'm sure it was a tie between owl pellet dissections and making scat cookies. Or, knowing these kids, it was probably just wakling around outside that was their favorite. It's interactions like these that give me faith in the future. I'm just glad I can be a part of their journey.
