Currently the yard list is sitting at 24 species but really, I haven't been home much to even see any birds. Here's the current list in order of appearance:
Northern Mockingbird, Eurasian Collared-dove, White-winged Dove, Mourning Dove, Rock Pigeon, Cooper's Hawk, Boat-tailed Grackle, Turkey Vulture, Laughing Gull, Red-bellied Woodpecker, European Starling, Short-tailed Hawk, Spot-breasted Oriole, Monk Parakeet, Blue Jay, Northern Cardinal, Osprey, Fish Crow, American Kestral, Common Grackle, Ring-billed Gull, Blue-crowned Parakeet, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, and Cattle Egret.
Check out all the other Skywatch Friday posts this week. And enjoy your weekend. I hope you see lots of cool yard birds. I for one will certainly be looking for a few new ones.

Your Sky Watch pictures are beautiful. I just sit for a moment and looked at them. They are stunningly hypnotizing.
Excellent shots, it's very hard for me taking pictures at night. Congrats!
Funny how the sun and the moon are about the same size in the sky. And it makes me think, I've seen a moon rise (on Cape Cod), but never a moonset!
Soooo jealous of your yard list! We've just moved to a new place (Northern Illinois) and are struggling to attract birds to our feeders. We just got our second yard bird yesterday. w00t.
Two beauites. Day moons are not easy shots to capture so sharply.
Beautiful shots!! Happy Skywatching:)
That second shot is a dream!
Beautiful shots.
