Party Over

Some people have a birthday party and some have a birthday week. I'm in the later catergory this year. It seems that I've been missing in action all week due to some birthday celebrations. So now that the party is over let's have a look at the latest Green Cay excitement.

This Anhinga has been photographed for the past week. It seems to have caught it's lower bill on an elastic hair scrunchie of some sort. At least that's what it looks like. I guess the bird is still eating since it appears to be healthy and full of energy. It can be seen everyday as soon as you start out on the mile boardwalk. Our regulars are in an uproar about the bird but there's not much we can do at this point. Hopefully the Anhinga will win the battle soon and get it off.
