Here's my post from the TAS Bird Board about this year's North American Migration Count:
I had some excellent birders with me for the count this year. We spent over 4 hours combing Green Cay and the pond across the street at PBC Water Utilities. There wasn't anything unusual but we had a great time, even if some resident species decided not to show themselves (where were you Loggerhead Shrike, Cooper's Hawk, and White-winged Dove??). Plus we saw FOS (for Green Cay) Blue-winged Teal and Common Yellowthroat. Thanks everyone that joined along for the count!
