Baby Explosion

If you've been to Green Cay lately you've seen the multiple broods of Black-bellied Whistling Duck babies. Right now we have two clutches with about three babies each. Last week one of the broods had as many has 16 babies. The Coooper's Hawk and Red-shouldered Hawk have been having a heyday with these easy pickings. I managed to snap a couple of shots of the big group of 16 before the hawks, gators, turtles, and herons dwindled them down to smaller numbers.
