Weekend Home

This was a fairly laid back weekend. I woke up Sunday and went to the local market to pick up some supplies. I found a wonderful variety of green foods to eat with great prices. I also couldn't resist the fresh bread at the panaderia. There's nothing better than some sweet bread for breakfast. Check out the Conchas below with the chocolate on it. The Lake Worth market is very colorful and full of cultural South Florida goods. When it comes to Latin American articles the market represents with flags, soccer jerseys, beads, hats, and even towels with the pride of the country colored on it. Plus all the food smells wonderful. I was full on bread but next time I'm going to have to try some of the local flair.

In the afternoon I headed north to meet some friends. We took a trip to the beach and brought along my favorite chihuahua. Coral Cove Park is found on Jupiter island and gives you a nice look at the Anastasia limestone outcroppings found in Palm Beach County. The tide was just right for some ocean spray on the rocks. All in all, it was a nice weekend hanging out at home.
