We have lots of educational animals at Green Cay. As we speak I have a Marine Toad, Glass Lizard, Boa Constrictor, and an Alligator in my bathroom awaiting a trip bright in early in the morning to one of the local elementary schools. The Pig Frog seen above, unfortunately, died recently. Green Cay has had this frog for three years and it was clearly an adult when obtained. As far as we can tell it died of old age. This death was not much of a surprise. The frog had been acting weird as of late and we knew the time was coming. Still, loosing an educational animal is a loss for us and I will miss his shy antics and the joy he brought many people visiting the center.
