Everyone at some point has googled their name. When I put mine in last week this picture popped up. I vaguely remember a photographer but I never saw this posted online or in print. I was out leading an afternoon free guided walk and one of the Palm Beach Post guys was just strolling about. He took a few pictures and asked my permission to use them and that's all I remember.
The Post has been giving us some nice publicity this week. They host a nature photo contest each year and quite a few of the entries are taken either at Green Cay or Wakodahatchee (the other water treatment facility). Go check them out yourself here, especially the 2nd place animal category by my friend Ruth. On my bird count today I saw 9 Black-bellied Whistling Ducks. I can't wait until they are nesting again!
