Tomorrow I leave for my grand adventure in Bolivia. I will be in the country for two weeks traveling the countryside in hopes of spotting some life birds and immersing myself in the Bolivian culture. The highlights of the trip will be a stop at Samaipata to see El Fuerte, a pre-Incan archeological site craved into a mountain, then at the end of my trip a tour of the Jesuit Mission Circuit, in a remote part of the country. Along the way we will be backpacking, camping, and hitching rides in search of the best music, food, and landscapes. I'll be back with plenty of tales and pictures to share. ¡Cuidados!
